I have an ISO file that i want to e-mail or post to an internet site.......my questions is, is an ISO file too big to e-mail/post on a internet site,or is there another type of file that is better suited for e-mail/posting to a site?

    Zip it and email it.
Burn it to a disc (CD) and send it snail mail.
Find a free upload service, create an account and upload it for someone else to download.

99% of email providers will either timeout of bounce a file that big.. and all the free file hosting services seem to have a 100mb size limit..

It's probably faster to burn it and stick it in the mail but if you must send it electronically then make a rar archive and split it at say 90MB.. then upload the parts to zhare or rapidshare and mail them the links. It will take a pretty long time to send.. snail mail (postman-net) might still work out faster.

Nobody mentions dcc over irc ;) That's another way.
