I have Dvd ClonerII it had been working fine about 3 weeks ago I started having a problem. Every movie says I have to spilt it to 2 discs and or if I can burn it to 1 disc it gets hafl way through burning and Iget a ett saying "burn failed do you want to try again" Any ideas for some help???? They customer support for dvd cloner is no help at all......
Unfortunately that program leaves much to be desired. I like you purchased it before I found this forum. Here is a thread regarding that program for you to read. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/206659 My recommendation is that you download and use dvdShrink and dvdDecrypter. They are free proggys and there are guides to using them on this forum. If you want to have an excellent 1 click proggy then I would recommend anyDVD (breaks encryption) and cloneDVD2 (burning proggy). You cannot go wrong with the four that I just mentioned. Sorry bout the bad purchase. Rip ON!
Not necessarily that it wont work, it's just not that great of a proggy. Lot of people have had problems with it. It will not allow you to adjust your target size or speed of burn and therefore produces inferior results with your backups. DVD Cloner II is a knock off of the better proggys dvdShrink and dvddecrypter and all the dudes want to do is get your money. Unfortunately they got mine too. I uninstalled it and now use the other four that I mentioned. Live and learn. I would definately recommend purchasing anyDVD and CloneDVD2 if you want 1 click burning proggys. Otherwise shrink and decrypter are fantastic. I have all four and have been using decrypter and shrink almost exclusively. bbmayo and scubapete have great guides for their usage.
