dvd copies freeze / skip

    1st timer to all this, using nero 5 for copying on xp system with a BTC Sual writer.Tried copying copies that play ok but once they have copied they either freeze totally or or partially freeze then skip. Seeing as i have never done this before desperately seeking help to find out where i'm going wrong. All replies will be gratefully received. Cheers

    Freeze ups are usually caused by cheap poor grade media. Another cause seems to be paper stick on labels if used. Those are the 2 main reasons I can think of. Also make sure your player and media match, as in + -. Jerry

    almost certainly crap media

    A quick search of the forum for skipping/freezing would thow up a whole bunch of refrences to bad media

    Buy something better
