I am trying to backup my movies but with some I get the DVD is copy protected. Cannot decryp VOB file. Copy protection error. Any way to by pass this. Thanks in advance. Steff
I would try using http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm its free and its the best one i think out there.... also you can just put the movie in there and leave all the extra features out. This a good ideaso the quality stays good and the video is not as compressed. Most dvds come as dvd-9's now which hold almost double the space as the dvd-5's which is what your using. Hi Steff, There are some movies out there that DVD Shrink cannot rip. Usually in those cases DVD Decrypter does the job. Hope it works for you.
