Hi, i am a beginner to using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink but have read heaps and HEAPS of forums, thus far being immensely helpfuL! i have used scubapetes step by step on how to use dvd shrink and how to set up DVD Decrypter so its in ISO write mode so im sure thats not the problem. But my log in DVDD says 'Device not ready (medium not present)' i have checked for firmware updates as suggested to others and my drive is pretty new and didnt have an update, so im a bit stuck. I just did some real quick research, but I don't think that drive is a dvd burner... only cd. I hope I am wrong. Does it burn cd's without problems?
Yes it burns cds fine, i just assumed it would burn dvds but the smart thing to do would have been to check that first i guess!! i have spent all week uploading different nero programs, and uninstalling and installing dvd shrink coz i couldnt seem to work out the problem! my own stupid fault really! Thank you for confirming it for me i'll stop tryin now! haha
