    Hello,
I have been using LG's HL-DT-ST-DVD-RAM GSA-H-22N burner. However, while I was trying to backup Hairspray and Sound of the Music DVDDecrypter displayed I/O Error. First, I used Ripit4me to ripped the movie, than used DvdShrink. I also used DvdDecrypter to write dvd. However, after writing image to disc at 98% decrypter displayed an error saying," I/O Error.
    Device: [1:0:0]HL-DT-ST-DVD-RAM GSA-H22N 1.00 (D:) (ATA).

After pressing retry another message display saying", Invalid Address for write."
I tried to write copy regular data dvd-rw to dv-r by using Roxio 9 disc copy. However, there was an error. I don't know what is going on I am using same media which work fine. I have been using DVD burner over two years. Device Manger indicates the driver is working and there is no problems. I also tried uninstalling the driver, but that didn't work. Now the D: drive will not read the data burnt on disc and it will not read when I insert brand new empty disc. Driver light is on briefly ,but doesn't display data neither change icon on my computer's D: drive. Is there something wrong with my hardware or software?
I look forwarding for helpful inputs and suggestions.
Thanks and have a good Evening.

    firstly...

uninstall roxio apps they conflict badly with pc drives! after uninstall use roxioZAP tool to get rid of registry

    http://www.brothersoft.com/roxio-zap-download-36862.html

also check for firmware updates to the drive after as the message you got is for not being able to read/write the disc too good if i remeber rightly

    then try again....
