Hi Mates! I have a question is there a way to back-up a DVD if it reads " RCE PROTECTION: YES ". Ive tried twice and the movie stops at half way. KenMarc
When you have an RCE dvd make sure you put in the correct region code, this will make your new dvd playable in most dvd players. strone
When you find a DVD that says that, the easiest progrm to open it with is DVD Shrink, it provides a window for you to enter your region code in then you're good to go Enjoy, Pete
Thanks for the prompt replys But now am getting an error in DVD Shrink that says: COPY PROTECTION ERROR THE REQUEST COULD NOT BE PERFORMED BECAUSE OF AN I/O DEVICE ERROR... =-0
I found how to remove the RCE protection in DVD Decrypter, did I mention that the DVD stops burning while using NERO, What type of DVD burner do you own? I have a generic type which carries no brand but I will be using the PLEXTOR 708a would you think that the DVD burner while make a diffrence?
=KenMarc=, Here ya go, this should tell you what burner you have (Who made it.) http://www.dvdinfopro.com/ Pete
