Hi all, This is my first post here. I have attempted a few searchs to find help, but to no avail. I have 2 dvdplayers, both of which are stuck in standby with discs in them. How unlucky can I get. My question is this, is there a way of ejecting the tray/disc in standby mode, so I can retrieve the discs prior to sending off players under their warranty? The first player is a Lecson DVD1000, which has an ejecting tray. The second player is a Sony SA70 series, which has the grab and pull slot.

Is there a reset button on the back of the player?

    Hi Oriphus
Thanks for the reply. I have sent the Sony player away today, so I can't check that one.
There doesn't seem to be any reset button on the back of the Lecson DVD1000.
There are only Scart and Phono input/outputs.
I have searched the net for any button combinations to override the tray, but can't find anything other than region hacks.
Do the players work on the same data path as pc dvd players, as I last resort I could plug it into my pcs ide bus and use the pc to eject it?
