i am copying a disk and it reads the disk but when i go to copy i was told to install a blank or rewritable dvd dl disks. what exactly is that and where can that be purchased. i have tried the dvd+rw and the dvd-rw disks but nothing happens. can u help me thanks
What this means is that you need a disk with more capacity. dl disks hold 8.5 gigs compared to the standard disk which hold 4.7 gigs. You should be able to find DVD+R DLs and DVD-R DLs at the same place you get your other disks. Be aware, DL disks cost 4-5x more than the regular disks. You can also use Nero Recode to shrink your movie and burn it to a regular sized disk. Binkie7 has a guide out for using Recode.
