I'ved buied 10 DVD's with the name MediaRange Double Layer with 8,5 GB space, so i downloaded the movie Superman Returns and i tried to burn it on a MediaRange Double Layer disc, and that works exactly as it should (I burned it by Nero), but when i set it on to my DVD Player, the hole movie began to get slow, and the voice in the movie wasnt correct with the people. The movie was perfect, when i played on Nero ShowTime. The question is: What is wrong? was it the disc, or was it Nero 7. The DVD's was buied from http://www.azomedia.dk/shop/default.asp?SetLng=1 and they where printable.
Hi. Those disks are likely made by Ricoh and, while not as good in quality as Verbatim, are usually OK for the most part. It appears to be a bad burn in this case. I never burn DL media with Nero. I just don't find it as good a burner as either ImgBurn or DVD Decrypter with respect to DL media. If you run AnyDVD in the background, you can make a full DL backup with just DVD Decrypter. Just make sure your burner firmware booktypes +R DL disks as DVD-ROM: - Set the mode to ISO Read and rip an ISO image file to your hard disk. - Insert a blank disk. - Set the mode to ISO Write, select the mds companion file to the ripped ISO file, set the write speed, and burn.
Have you tried to play disk on a different DVD player? Did you turn off your DVD player, tv & any equipment connected to DVD player. Turn all back on & try again?
Hmm, i will buy some Verbatim DVD's, and find out, that my current Double Layer DVD's maybe have to be exchanced. Thanks, for all your suggestions.
