jesus christ im i anoyed, i just put a whole heap of leds in the cube to spruce it up, it looks good by the way. but now my drive is stuffed the red laser will do its thing but it will not spinman this is gay, its now a colourfull paper weight. any clue why this has happened, i tried unpluging evrything but the power supply so no power is being brained by the LEDs so i cant fighue out whats up its ass? any one interested in seeing pics of it?

please it took me a while to make it look pretty now its not working

can it be because you allocated the voltage to the leds and thus created a deficit for other parts of the cube? very fustrating I see, something to think about.

i dont think so as where i have put the LEDs are on the controller section that can be removed and the fan power section that can also be removed, even when they are removed so no power is going to the LEDs it still dosnt work so i dont think it has to do with not getting enough power. man this is frustrating

dunno wether i cooked something as i didnt solder anything on the main board or anything other than the controller port that is rmoveable all my things i used came mainly from the fan power port where i just bought a blue led fan and converted the power cable to be used on that and stripped the wire a little to power other led lights and the fan all works nicely. i ended up just buying a 2nd hand cube just for the whole dvd unit, swaped the good unit with the bad and returned it getting another spare unit and with warranty i got another 2 years if they all die to get a new one... cube all works fine after getting the new drive in . maybe its time was just up or something else
