The dvd drive I have is dead it spins up but does not read and it is no longer under warrenty. Xbox wants 94.00 for repairing the unit and gthat seem excessive considering that the dvd drives cost less.

I was wondering if anyone here figured out the schemadics on the (yellow power) plug in the back of the dvd drive so a pc power plug can be used with another dvd drive or better yet a dvd-/+r

just curious about that and anyinformation would be useful.

Ive been to www.lik-sang.com but the parts are no longer in stock and really i would like to use what I have here already.

    Thanks
    Squirrell

dont wory about the yellow plug just get a pc cable thats one male to 2 female plugs and link it to your hd as if you would in a pc so in simple means it would go from main hd lead into hd then to dvd so the yellow power lead becomes obsolete for the time being
