I cannot play DVD on my laptop. I think i need a driver and a decoder. Can i get this for free? I am using Win XP. Please help
You need PowerDVD. It is a player which allows you to watch DVDs on your PC. Get it here: http://download.com.com/3000-2139-10019562.html
Also I little trick, get powerdvd on, then you can watch it through media player......as it utilises the driver of powerdvd......
how do i watch the dvd thru media player using powerdvd? moreover does the limit of 30 min video apply if i use media player?
You just use media player to watch and play your DVD. I don't think the limit does apply kardi03. Good luck
i downloaded powerdvd and tried several dvds but it keeps giving me window saying insert disk in e drive. Please help me
Good question Koola, answer. do not know as I have the full version of powerdvd..... Worth looking into I think.... My dad showed me it.... Nothing but media player installed....inserted dvd - no go.. Then installed powerdvd. Inserted dvd, opened up media player...Bingo.... dll/codecs etc must utilise the same ones..... kardi03...it sounds like it has defaulted to a different drive. Go into the configuration page (click on spanner OR ctrl c) and set the correct drive up... Also uncheck the play upon insertion (bloody annoying)...
