Something has caused my DVD-RW (which I was already having problems with) and my DVD-ROM drives to be unrecognized in "My Computer," Windows Media Player, INCD, and various other things on my computer. The device manager gives them both little yellow circles with an exclamation point and tells me "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)" When I try to update the drivers, apparently there isn't any better ones. I've tried the uninstall/reinstall fix and it didn't work. I'm using HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM 8161B and Lite-On DVD-RW 411S and I think it's a software problem. Can someone give me another suggestion besides reformatting?
