hey guys, is there any program that will edit commercials out of your dvd, i have a cyberhome dvr 1500 recorder hooked to my tv the menu doesen't really have that much editing options.Thanks.
Well you could Rip the DVD To your Hard Drive as a Single Big VOB or VRO File and then Load the Big Vob/Vro file into a Native Mpeg editor like "Womble Mpeg2VCR" or "Womble Mpeg Video Wizard 2005" and edit out your comercials and even add a couple Transitions and effects if you want and then output your edited File as a Mpeg-2 file and then use a DVD Authoring program Like "MediaChance DVDLab Pro" to add your Menu"s and Chapters and to Burn it all Back to DVD-R... It isn"t that Difficult and it doesn"t take that Long and there will be no negitive effect on the Quality of the Video.... Cheers

You can use "Smartripper" to rip the DVD as a Single Big file...Go into the settings and under "File Splitting" set it to "Max File Size" and then set the Max file size to "9000mb" and then when you rip the DVD in Movie Mode it will rip as a Single Big file... You can also use "DVD Decryptor" to Rip as a single File by going into it"s settings and setting the "File Splitting" options to "None" which will then rip the DVD as a Single File.... You can also use a Mpeg editor like "Womble Mpeg2VCR" to Join all of the Vob or VRO Files into a single Big Mpeg-2 file..... Cheers
