Dvd fab burning problems

    I have used dvdfab to make backups of my dvd's.
    But the last time i tried to make a backup of some of the disney classics there was problems.I tried to upgrade,but I had to buy the dvdfab?
    When I installed it at the first time I thought it was free shareware.
    What to do?
    Is there any others free programs that takes the copy protection and work as well as the fab?
    Anyone can tell?
