At the final part of burning, DVD Flick says Closing session failed -reason-no seek complete. I wait for a long time and after a lot of trying to cancel i get the disc out and close DVD Flick. The DVD burns ok and plays, but i don`t know what this 'no seek complete" is. Any ideas?
DVD flick uses ImgBurn to burn the disk. You can run ImgBurn as a standalone program (it's in the 'c:\program files\dvd flick\imgburn' folder. The splash screen of ImgBurn, under 'Help' has a selection for the logs. See if there is a log for the burn and post it.
Thank You i downloaded IMGBURN but it did the same "no seek complete". The log is attached. There's a firmware version TN02 here. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NS50/files.html If that doesn't help - and no one pops up with a response, try the ImgBurn forum. Post the larger of the logs - the short ones before and after are not relevant - the creator of the program responds to posts. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showforum=6
Thank You i upgraded the firmware to TN02 and it`s working well. Another question> i have a video_ts on my computer. Do i have to convert it to be able to play it on computer and standalone DVD player and what format to convert it to?? Also what free DVD converter do you recommend? Cheers
No conversion needed, just burn the Video_Ts folder with ImgBurn(didn't you just did that in the previous post?)
Yes, i converted it to mpeg but i have experienced in the burned video_ts and mpeg the video and audio are not synchronized.
Well, not all is fixed. The video_ts DVD plays audio and video on my computer but on my standalone dvd player the picture is there but no sound. Any clues.
Drag VTS_01_1.VOB from the VIDEO_TS folder onto MediaInfo and verify that the audio is some type of .AC3
Thank You. The attached shows what i found in Mediainfo. I burned on two discs- an Invert DVD-R and the other a Mr Data DVDR. The Invert DVD-R plays with video and sound on the computer but only video on the standalone DVD player, no sound. The Mr Data DVDR doesn`t play at all on the computer and standalone DVD. The box "play using windows media player" comes up-click but nothing plays. http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae123/jamesongeorge/vob.jpg http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae123/jamesongeorge/discs001.jpg
Did you try to toggle between the audio tracks using your remote control? It seems you have 3 audio streams, and although the AC3 is listed as the first stream, the DVD player might be defaulted to a different one, like DTS, and that's why you have no output. Try the remote first.
Thanks.I`ll try that. The Mr data disc doesn`t play on the computer at all. The box comes up. Click but nothing.(attached) http://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae123/jamesongeorge/playit.jpg
I burned another Mr Data disc and it plays ok on the computer and standalone dvd player. So the other disc was a dud-no good-in the bin. The other Invert disc is still no good for sound on the dvd player-another dud-binside. Cheers
Just passing thru; please stop (ab)using the bold and colour functions, your posts are very hard on the eyes, it's actually worse than CAPS LOCK abuse on the poor retinas..
The color is used to emphasize certain points. Also some people have sight that is not quite clear as the retinas are failing. People in that situation deserve consideration. There are alternate forums that frequently assist their members.
Thank You. You showed your true colors. Get the pun. Leave it at that there`s more important issues to be looked after. Cheers i think??
