I was just wondering why the DVD i made from VHS wont play on any other DVD drive, or even my computer( i made from a DVD/VHS player , all i did was copied the VHS to DVD and it only plays on that DVD/VHS player...but there has to be a way for it to play on the computer by downloading something) I was also wondering if i could download a driver, or some kind of format that would make it playable on my Computer so that i can edit it and do other types of effects to the DVD from my computer, thanks......

you will need to convert the vhs tape to an mpeg2 associated file before 2 things can happen.

    1.YOUR pc can read it

2.you can burn it to disc to be played in a standalone dvd player
