does anybody know why some of my dvd movies will freeze up and skip parts ? I used 1 click dvd copy pro. Ver, 2.0.1.5 anydvd,ver.6.1.3.3 Nero ver 7.5 Thanks
Could be a few things. Try playing these discs back in the pc and see if you have the same problem there - may just be the DVD player - they can be picky with media or the lens may be dusty and need cleaning. What brand of discs did you use? Good ones that are pretty compatible would be Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell. Burn speed? If not already burn at 1/2 the rated speed of the media. How about the burner - firmware up to date? You cna check the firmware version in Nero. In SmartStart go to Tools>Info Tool. Pick the burner in the dropdown. In the drive tab there's a field for the version #. You can check the manufacturer's site or here for a later version. If your multi tasking - keep it to a minimum when burning.
