I saw a similar thread, but didn't want to hijack...

The problem started 2 days ago, with blanks (Memorex 16X -RW) that I've used for the past week or so with no apparent problems. I burned 3 DVD-ISOs, the 1st two were fine, the last one wouldn't open in Explorer, but Nero Express could copy from it. That disk was not readable on any of my PCs, and standalone DVD player had a disk error. I thought it was a fluke, since Nero gave me a success message in each of 3 cases.

Last night, I burned 2 more DVDs, with verify = ON. Those disks are not readable in Explorer when inserted into the same drive (Pioneer DVR-106D), but look OK if I read them on my 2nd DVD drive (a SONY). They also read OK in Explorer on my laptop, but not on my kid's PC. Finally, they play fine in my DVD player.

Any help would be appreciated. I could post the log file once I get home from work.

hi, yup, pls post LAST section of your Nero log, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar

Well, my problem got resolved when I installed the latest Nero update. I thought I'd mention it just in case it may help someone else.
