Hi I always use either DVD Decrypter or Clone DVD to backup the my dvd's. I use DVD Decrypter if the dvd is smaller than 4.7GB and Clone DVD for one's bigger. Problem is recently a few of my dvd's keep coming up with a read error when I am creating an ISO with either program. The message that come's up in DVD Decryptor is the following:

    I/O Error!

    Device : [1:0:0] Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-106D 1:07 (D:)

    Scsi Status : 0x02
    Interpretation : Check Condition

    CDB : 28 00 00 06 AD 70 00 00 01 00
    Interpretation : Read (10) - Sector : 437616

    Sense Area : F0 00 03 00 06 AD 70 OE 00 00 00 00 11 05 00 00 00 00 5D 14 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

    Interpretation : L-EC Uncorrectable Error

What does this mean, is it the state of the dvd or is it another problem, it has happened with a few DVD's but most backup as normal. The same type of message come's up in Clone DVD.

    Please help

The discs that give you problems, are they clean and scratch free?
