after encoding and burning movie to dvd i am finding on playback on dvd player the movie is ever so slightly jerky not like big jumps just seems to stutter from frame to frame,, any ideas on why would be great i am using datawrite dvds and my burner is pioneer pvr 110D
1) burn with imgburn free from www.imgburn.com 2) use Taiyo Yuden discsor MIJ Verbatims 3) burn at no more than 1/2 of disc rated speed 4) update to latest firmware on burner
Note the tabs on the upper portion of your screen. You will see one named GUIDES...that's where i found this. http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burn_dvd_folder_imgburn.cfm
Along with the great advice already given, you might want to set the target size to 4300 mb. I'm assuming you are using Shrink. bbmayo's Guide: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Guides/Custom_Size.html
did u rip the video from a dvd, download it, or is it video from a camcorder? if its a download or a camcorder this sometimes happens and i really havent found anything to correct it. if its a dvd rip then u deffinitly have problems, i would try some of the suggestions of the above members. especially the one about the datawrite dvds. ive never heard anyone say good things about them.
try playing the burnt movie on another dvd player? Make sure you aren't using those paper disc labels.
