Can anyone help me please, i have dvd lab pro and im using it to create my own dvds, but no matter what way i encode my files when dvd lab maeks a dvd the audio is way out of sync, i have converted my files to mpeg 2 and to vob files but they are still the same, if i play the mpeg files on my computer through winamp or media player they play fine.

What did you create these Mpeg-2 files From?? If they were AVI Files what was the audio format and Video frame Rate???

Also what software did you use to encode the Files to Mpeg-2 and what settings did you use??

Also did you make sure that you Demultiplexed your Mpeg-2/VOB files first before starting on your DVD??

also is the audio File a Different Length that the Video file because if it is then that is why your audio is out of Sync...

I use DVDLab Pro for all of my DVD"s and I haven"t had a Single problem yet and that is after authoring over 1000 Movies to DVD....

    Cheers

OK...Here is what I think the Problem is..Most AVI files that you download off of the net use the VBR MP3 audio format and this audio format will allmost allways Go out of Sync after encodeing, To Solve this Problem you must Decompress the audio in your AVI files before you encode them to Mpeg-2/DVD Format....

If you Run your AVI File through this Tool it will decompress the audio in your AVI file so it doesn"t go out of sync after encodeing...

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J7HNW11I

But since you have allready encoded the Video you can Just decompress the audio in your AVI file and just encode the audio with your encoder and then Load that audio file into DVD Lab and author your DVD....

Well the only other thing I can think of is maybe it is Going out of sync because you are Converting a Pal AVI file to NTSC and Many encoders can not Properly Convert frame Rates like when encodeing Pal 25fps to NTSC 29.976fps which causes the Sync Problem....

The only other thing Besides that is maybe there is a Error or Corrupted Frames in the File that is Causeing the Sync problem??

maybe if you Used a Different Encoder to encode your AVI files you might get better results....

One of the Best encoders for encodeing Pal Files to NTSC is Called "Canopus Procoder" so if you can get ahold of it it might be a Good Choice for converting your Files....

Sorry i can"t help Much here....

    Good Luck
