I have just created a DVD lab pro project with a "main movie" and "extras" type setup. To create the extras i had to convert them from .mp4 format into mpeg-2 and then i demuxed them using TMPGenc. I put the audio and video files in the program and it didn't give me any errors apart from the standard "open GOP" warning. The problem is, when i go to compile the project it gets up to "muxing is in progress" but doesnt go any further, i even left it on overnight to see if that would work. I tried a test compile and that worked, so im assuming it had something to do with the video files?

I need this done as soon as possible, so any ideas at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Using DVD-Lab Pro, you don't actually need to demux anything.
There are 2 ways to do this:
1 - When using TMPGEnc, encode not to a system stream (the default setting) but instead set to Elementary Streams Audio & Video. This is ES in TMPGEnc, and will give you output of an M2V file and a PCM WAV file (Don't use MPEG audio)
2 - If you must use a system stream, like a VOB file, import this directly into DLP which should then give you the option to demux on import.

Option 1 is the better bet though, as DLP really prefers it's files to be DVD compliant.

Thanks a lot, i'll try that if it happens again as for somereason it stopped happening when i merged all my different movie files into one long one. So it was probably the way they were encoded.
thanks for your help though, ill need it for my next project.
    cheers
