Ok, Everytime I go to compile, it just puts a bunch of vob files in the output folder, the first one being 1 Gig and the rest being 0 K. Now when I check the box to replace video with a test screen, it produces everything ok, including the menu, the only problem is i Can't get video? Why does dvd-lab do something different everytime I click compile?
yeah i've read through that a few times. but it doesn't explain why dvd lab doesn't compile the menu when I want it to do the real video. When everything is in place the movie is compiled to AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders. The video and audio assets can be replaced with dummy files for testing the layout and navigation on standalone players without the need for compiling and gigabytes of video. During the compilation the menu screens are generated, and elementary MPEG video and audio streams are multiplexed to VOB files. When I want it to compile everything including video, it seems as almost it fails out and stops leaving those 0kb files vob files into the folder , and it says done, but there is no menu. The video files i'm working with are already in vob format, I was just wondering if any of you are experiencing similiar symptoms.
a. Tried to demux the vob files to elementary streams first? b. Tried expertise by converting to mpeg file first? c. Is alt least one menu defind before compilation? Peronaly when I tried to compile directly from vob files no problem arrised (I did it for testing purposes using Sky Captain).
