So, I made my first attempt at converting DVD content to a .dpg file. I used DVD Decrypter to convert the DVD Video to MPEG, then Super to convert from MPEG to .dpg.

The resultant .dpg video was quite watchable, with the exception of audio lag that got progressively worse as the movie went on. I am guessing that this is due to converting from 29.97 fps to 25 fps (maximum frame rate allowed in Super).

Am I missing an intermediate step to match the frame rates?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

I have had loads of issues with the audio sync, I have written a guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/718718

I found that the avi (Mpeg) to dpg bit was the problem, converting it straight from VOB was perfect. It does assume that your hard drive is not formatted to Fat (limit on file size).

    Hope this helps
