have DVD plays perfect in TV DVD, Computer-I have 2 computers--one computer will play using windvd6 & windows Media player the other computer will play using windvd6 but not with win media player or inter actual player. the video is fine only the sound is missing. bottom line play fine everywhere except win media & inter actual. ALL OTHER DVD'S PLAY FINE.THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES NOT HAVE SOUND!! I can only guess that a codec is missing that these 2 programs need. if correct how may I find which one??? ps. I have reinstalled win media. Any help appreciated, Dick
It would be helpful to know what kind of DVD your talking about. Is it store bought/rented or homemade. If if is bought or rented try installing the DS filter: http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/ Ced
store bought,o/s XPsp2. all other disc play fine both bought & copies. must have 25 or so. I can play on other systems [pc-tv] it is no big deal but I sure would like to know why??? like I said it will play w/sound using WINDVD6 but MS10Multi media only vedio!! thanks, Dick I tried your filter but no improvement, sorry but thanks again
