I purchased Pinnacle Instant PhotoAlbum Slide Show. I have used it with good results for one year. Recently I updated software and now when I burn a dvd slide show, the dvd player recognizes the disk as a dvd, but will not play it. I have tried to redownload the updates but that has not worked. I have emailed the company, but have got no response yet. What can I do? Does anyone have suggestions of what to do or of maybe a new slideshow software??

yeah, just go back to the older version...and let me tell you, the only answer you'll get from Pinnacle is to "Uninstall and Reinstall"...they just copy and paste that response to EVERY problem. LOL.

If I do that will I loose all of the work I have done? The thing I like about the new version is has new transitions. I guess I can't have t both ways. I still have not recieved an email back from Pinnacle. I think I'll look into buying an diffrent slide show program.

it's possible you *May* lose your work....but, that's a joy of using a Pinnacle product...haha. I can't guarantee you won't lose it, but there have been times when my projects still opened fine, and of course there have been times when I lost HOURS of work...it just happens.....let us know what happens with you.

    Good Luck.
