The instructor on my A+ course today said that the DVD format is flawed by what he called a "disease" - some sort of inevitable and short-term degradation of the physical media. He insists it's a well-known flaw in DVD, but I've never heard of this before.

Is this true... or not? I have my doubts. Maybe it's as reliable as his story of Hitler and Einstein working together on electronics research in the early 20th Century.

    Thanks :)

Thanks. Yeah, that's what I understand. I think it's just an exaggeration of some facts from years ago when a bad batch of disc media got out.
