i use dvddecryptor,thendvdtoone, then nero. every time when burning it will get to 99% then fail. when i try it in my standalone, it will play about 30minutes then get all pixelly. the sound gets choppy then it freezes up. i have retried this over and over, always the same. i tried burning with recordnow but it does the same thing. could it be my dvd player? or my dvd+rw? is there an option i need to change? any ideas? why does nero say buring has failed if it has not?
hi, might be the media your using, also make sure you have all antivirus software stopped and any background programs off whilst burning. You can test the dvd before burning using powerdvd to view if you have it or a smiliar program. But it does sound a bit like bad discs, try another brand, dont think its dvd-decrypter, but you could try smartripper instead to prove that. It could be your player doesnt like rw+ media some players are very fussy about them espcially older ones. I have had the same problem with recordnow but stopping all apps seems to work for me. And choice of media. Its failing on the finilizing of the disc, the discs will generally work but can freeze and stutter.
i dont use nero to burn dvd's but when i used it to burn vcd's and this happened i got tired of nero and used another program to burn.. success.. never used nero again
