I use VSO DivxToDVD to encode my avi's to DVD format. Then I use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make menus.I burn using Nero at 4x.Playback on Home DVD Player is VERY good, apart from blocky pixellisation that happens every now and again.Seems to be when some fast action is taking place on screen.
Anyone know if i can get rid of this pixellisation?Any info will be greatly appreciated.
    THANKS

Sounds like a quality of the blank you used is the problem...using cheap brands (CMC MAGs, NexxTech, Memorex, etc.) Using quality blanks such as Verbatims and Taiyo Yudens would be a good start.

Sometime choosing at a burn speed doesn't always mean it will burn at that speed. It depends on your burner's write speeds and the blank dvd-r's supported write speeds. For instance, I use a Lite-On along with Fuji discs to burn my movies, they only support burn speeds at 6x and 8x. No matter if I choose 2x or 4x, it jumps to 6x....
