    Hey guys,
I authored my own dvd using divxtodvd. I initially had an avi and i properly encoded it and burned the Vid_TS and Aud_TS folders. Im using RiDATA +r dvd disks. The dvd plays on my older sony standalone player but does not on my panasonic dvd player which claims that it plays all media formats. HOWEVER, i get really confused because the Panasonic plays +r dvd disks that are complete backups of commercial dvds. Do any of you guys have any ideas on what is happening? THANKS A WHOLE LOT!!!!

It's a compatibility issue between hardware and software which happens quite often. You may try change the media or burning programs to see if things are better.

    Good luck!

Burning at lower speed (e.g. 2-4x) also helps.

    Good luck!
