Sorry if this has been covered before, I'm trying to playback backed-up DVD's on my XBOX. Some work some don't. I use DVD Decryptor and DVD Shrink and burn with Decryptor. Any suggestions would be so much appreciated.
Are the backups playing at all? or are they just not playing correctly? ie. jumping and freezing etc? Do your backups play on your computer or a friends dvd player etc? 99.9 % of backups not playing correctly are normally due to using poor quality media or writing to fast(or a combination of both)what sort of media are you using? What speed are you writing at? try writing at 4X or lower? Make sure you have the latest firmware for you writer also. If none of this helps it could be DVD Shrink or DVD Decryptor thats the problem,i would recommend you try a free trial of CloneDVD2 & AnyDVD here http://www.slysoft.com/en/ it's worth the dosh. Cheers activ8
Thanks but the back-ups play on a reg. DVD player with no issue, it's just that some play on the XBOX some don't.
What brand of blank Media are you using? All i can recommend is try something like a Verbatim -R and write at 4x or below.Your xbox might just be a bit picky on what discs it will play.
i have the same problem. i want to watch movies on my xbox and some work and some dont. i dont know what the difference is. i use the same dvdr- disks and the same programs everytime. i dont know why the xbox only chooses to play some of them. i hope someone figured it out
