It's Friday, I am in a budget hotel room. I just got a movie from redbox, got my reeses pieces and a cold drink to accompany me as I watch my new release movie on my computer.
My dvd player doesn't see the disk. I start surfing the web and I find little to nothing concerning my problem. I check my drive with other dvd's and they are read by my player. The other movie, a not so new release from redbox plays but Knowing will not play.
I checked my drivers and they are all up to date.
I reformatted about a week ago and everything remains in factory condition.
I am thinking that the movie format is not recognized by my dvd player and don't know if there is a way to make my player recognize the format. I tend to think this is a common problem according to many forums and postings but I don't see many making the connection between the movie format and the dvd player as much as they are wanting to troubleshoot drivers, a clean or unclean dvd player and such. Does anyone know what to do with this problem void of maintenance?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
