hey all, I have two different dvd players for my movies and I was wondering if their was a dvd player that plays .avi files w/o converting them to video_ts?.

If their is, how do I burn .avi so its viewable on that dvd player?.

Also there are so many different file types out there. Whats the best all around dvd player for burnt/backup movies?. Because sometimes mine skip, and its not the movie.

Thx to ne1 who can help ;-D

    Burnt DVDs : No
    Non-converted movies on CD/DVD : Yes.

I use my trusty Sumvision N820 DivX certified multimedia player :) Has never let me down. I love the thing, just burn all my video/music onto a cd/dvd and put it in, and it plays. Plays everything I give the thing. XviD, DivX, VCD, SVCD, MPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4, KVCD, DVD-R hell you name it ;)
