I copied all my VOB files onto APPLE DVD-R and burned the files.... The player says it cannot play the disc... The disc however plays on my computer....
Is there any technical aspect that i am missing.... Do i have to make a folder of VIDEO_TS on the DVD-R that contains all the files?????

Please help as its now started to bug me...

Did you just copy the files directly from the DVD to an empty DVD-R and burned it using the MAC OSX built-in burning software? Because then it´s pretty obvious what the problem is. You´ve got to decrypt the files first using DVDBackup and then probably compress them using DVD2oneX and then burn them using Toast or whatever. Then you get a working DVD that is compatible with most DVD players.

You seem to have answered your own question at the end of your sentence.

The DVD must have a name (untitled is fine) then below this level a folder name Video_ts and then the files go inside the folder.

Commercial players look for this folder first, if it's not there it just spins.
