dvd player only plays cds!!! please help!!!

hi all! my problem is that my dvd player has just decided it wont play any dvds but will play cds. Is there a different laser for dvds to cds? Please help me!

 

are you tring to play burn't dvd video or dvd mp3?

 

im trying to play any and all dvds.

 

I had a same problem, nothing you can do except return it from where you go it

 

is there no other way to fix this problem? I have had this player for over a year & it is out of warranty.

 

you might have it on parental lock...you cant even skip chapters when it on
