Okay, let me start by saying that I know the DVD player plays vcd. I' use KVCD, actually. I've been making these for some time now, and have went through about 4 DVD players. They all worked just fine for all my movies, reguardless of the type of disc. Eventually, they start giving playback problems on any nonstandard, and some standard vcds. It usually had to do with the audio losing sync. The last player I bought lasted about 4 months. The first couple lasted about a year each. Is this a common problem? I buy cheap players, but I didn't think they should be going bad this quickly. The player I have now is a Durabrand 1002, and I've had a Cyberhome 300(which was the oddest thing ever) and a Tokia DVD 101 in the past. Should I just cough up the cash to get a better quality player, or what?
