dvd player wont recognize SCVD burned with NERO

    I have a Sony DAV-S500 DVD player... Friends have burned VCD's for me and they have worked with it. I have a cue and bin file and went to the burn image and burned everything and it was successful burning, but the DVD player wont recognize it... anyone have any suggestions??

    most sony dvd players play vcd's and play them well. Most sony dvd players will not play svcd's. Did you make a vcd or svcd????

    Figured it out... my dvd player wont play svcd which i was trying to burn rather than vcd.... I used dvd2avi and tmpgenc to convert to mpeg1 and everything burned and played well... Thanks for your help anyways..
