I glanced through the forums here and see several people with the same problem but no real solution so far. I need some help finding a DVD player that will play old back-ups. For years, I had two 'piece of crap' Apex DVD players. They were great. They cost $20 and would play anything. Unfortunately, one of them crapped out and the other was destroyed in a move. So, I bought a new RCA DVD player and I recently bought a new Panasonic stereo surround sound system that came with a 5-disc DVD player. I'm having the same issue with both players...older DVD back-ups are skipping, stopping and pixel-spamming across the screen. I went back and checked, and this is happening on old movies that played fine on the older Apex players. What I need is a recommendation on a DVD player that can play these older movies. Any ideas?
