I downloaded a movie (Pride and Prejudice) in Hungarian, an. avi file. The movie plays perfectly on my Mac in RealPlayer. I put it in iDVD and previewed and it was perfectly playing in Hungarian. I burned it on a DVD and when I play it on TV the movie plays in both languages, English softer in the background and Hungarian louder in the foreground. I have burned hundreds of movies on DVD with iDVD and this never happened before. I have not found a similar problem posted with a solution.
    Please help.

I think this should be in the Mac forum.
If it was a PC, I would use the likes of MediaCoder to find out if there was in fact two audio streams - which would be odd for an avi file - but not for a DVD.

It's possible that there is only stereo and each channel has separate language.
Then I would demux the audio and use the likes of Audacity to make one or two audio streams and remux them to recreate the DVD.

Ask a mod to move this to the Mac forum.
You can also try the Videohelp site - many more Macs there.
