    Hello Everyone,

I use nerovision express 2 to convert my DIVX Movies to Vob Files. After converting i check the vob files using PowerDVD and they play perfect. After that i burn them to a DVD using Nero Burning Rom SE on a fugifilm DVD-R 4.7 gb, and when thats finished i play it in my dvd player and its all glitchy, like it will play fine for a little bit and then it will glitch or sometimes even freeze, all throughout the movie. Ive tried everything and im really confused if anyone has any idea's your words are appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Tyler

Glitches, jitters, and freezes are usually caused by poor media. Fuji was once considered decent media. But things change as companies try to cut budgets. So I would try a different brand like Sony if you're going to the local megamart or Ritek, Verbatim, or Taiyo Yuden if you're shopping online.

Echo the 4x and add that you check to make sure your burner firmware is up to date.

    Hello
I was having the same problem I think I have solved it by doing the following:
    1. Upgrading the firmware for my DVD writer.
    2. De-selecting 'Burn at once' and selecting the best quality button when using Nero Recode.
    3. I also un-loaded Microsoft AntiSpyware when burning DVD's. I had heard a rumour that there is a conflict between the two programs.

I made these changes all at once so I'm not sure if it was one or a combination of them all that fixed my problem. Anyway, I have now burnt 8 DVD'd in a row and all play back perfectly. I burn the DVD's at maximum speed (8x) with no problem. BTW, I also tried different media and it made no difference so I'm sure the problem was software based. Hope this helps.
