So i recetley signed up for netflix and ive been ripping movies like mad with dvd shrink. Anywho my work flow is as follows, i rip the dvd 1:1 with dvd shrink to hard drive. Then i load video_ts into nero for burning on a dual layer disc with a sony dru-700a burner. The media i am using is verbatim 2.4x which is the recommended media for the particular drive. here is where the problem begins i recently ripped scarface 20th anniversary as well as goodfellas, when i bring them up to my brand new sony DVP-NC85H 5 disc brand new dvd player, the dvd is all fucked up. For example, the lines that are supposed to be under either play movie or chapter or whatever are not their, When i do get to chapters (by pressing menu on my remote again???), all the names of particualr chapters are gone and missing. Im not sure whats going on but its bugging me. Ive tried re-burning the movie with different media but no luck. Basically something is going on with the structure of the dvd files because it plays really funky on the dvd player. Also the menu structure is really funky, like if i press play to begin movie it doesent work, i actually have to press menu while im in the main menu for it to play. Any info? please help!!!
