I finally figured out how to burn a dvd. It plays fine on my computer. However, when I play it on a standalone dvd player, it plays the first thing, which is the fbi warning and then it goes blank and I can't get it to play anymore. On the computer, after the fbi warning, it goes to the menu just fine. Any suggestions?
You need to give more information such as what programs are you using to process/burn the disc, what type of media are you using, what burner are you using etc.
Roxio Easy CD Creator 5, DVD+R/RW. The DVD that I am using is a DVD+R. Should I be using a +RW? I tried to play this on my daughter's cheap DVD player and it works fine. However, on my more expensive Sony, it does not work.
RW's a generally worse for compatability than R's. Check your DVD player's compatability here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php
