Can bin cue files be burnt on to DVD+R's, if so can someone point me in the right directions for "HOW TO" I have tried Nero and it asks for CD+R, if I buy some CD+R's, will it play on my Divx/DVD player? Thanks Lisa
Bin/Cue files are for CD-R. More then likely these are VCD/SVCD video format. Which most DVD players can play them but you will have to look at your DVD documentation and see if VCD/SVCD is supported. You could also extract the Video file from the BIN file and burn that to DVD and your DivX player should play it. You can do this by downloading a program called ISO Buster. You can get a free limited function of the program at the below link. (This gives you the function you need to extract the video file from the BIN file. http://www.isobuster.com/isobusterdownload.php Install the program then run it. Now load the BIN file into ISO Buster. You now should see the files and folders inside the BIN file. You will need to extract the file that is in the MPEGAV folder. The file should be named something like AVSEQnn.DAT (The file might not be named this but should be similar to it) Once you find the file right click on it and then choose extract and it should extract the AVSEQnn.DAT (Video file) from the BIN and you can now burn that to a data DVD to play in your Xvid compatible player.
In a manner, bin/cue can be burned to a DVD but first you have to extract the mpg and then that mpg can be burned: http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=141726. Not all players will play a CD, I have 2 and only 1 will. Check your manual or , I think, Videohelp.com has specs on players, not sure though.

You can burn it as a data DVD if you want to play it in your DVD player. Your Xvid compatible DVD player should play it.
I been burning Kvcd video to CD with Nero (Burn as Image file)and so far they have played on six different DVD players there was just one failure and that was on a really ancient dvd player.
It's been a while since I used any bin, cue files, but I remember that the software I used most of the time was Alcohol 120. It's not in that quote, but it supports DVD as well.
