Hi, for a long time i have been using Dvd+R disks with my DVD recorder. When i insert a new disk in the recorder the machine recognise the disk as DVD+R and before recording i have to format the disk.TO day i have used a DVD-R blank disk and the recorder recognised the disk as VIDEO.Also the recorder did not ask me to format the blank disk before recording. Is that normal for DVD-R disks. What is the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R.Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks and best season wishes.
