Hi Im A confused Newbie, So Help Would Be nice )

I can put CD-R disks the 700mb type in my DvD/RW and copy things off my pc onto them all day.

But I cant put in a 4.7GB DVD-R disk without it saying free space available is none - instead of 4.7 GB.(

Is There any known Solution To This Clever People.

    My PC is a Packard Bell 3.06 Pentium 4 - 160mb HD.

    Thanks from John.

All I Can Supply Is That My PC Is A Packard Bell 1508-Imedia model

3.06Ghz, Pentium 4 Processor, 1024 ram, 160gb sata HD, purchased in November 2005.

The Disk Drive Says DVD R/RW....Compact disk Rewritable ultra speed & RW. DVD+R DL.

Should This Be able To recognize A Blank DVD-R Or DVD+R Disk instead of Just saying Free Space 0.
Bcos Ive Got both Of These types DVD-R 4.7GB & DVD+R 4.7 GB & neither seem to recognize in My Disk Drive Guys.

    From john.
