i was wondering since if i got a dvd player that plays divx if i could put the divx on dvd-r instead of a cd so i could put more on there and it still be a divx disc?
im pretty sure it is possible, you can this way either add multiple high quality movies to one disk or have a single super high quality movie on the one disk. you can only try, just put a couple on a disk and put it in the player, worst case scenario you wind up with a disk full of divx that cant be played in a dvd player.
Well no way to say 100% since you didn't mention the player. Never actually heard of one that couldn't play divx/avi files from DVD. For better compatibility you should stick with ISO though, so no files > 2GB.
