I was wondering if dual layer discs work for backing up games larger 4.7GB?
Was gonna try Ninja Gaiden but don't want to buy a disc only to have it not work as DVD+R DL discs are $10 each here.

yeah, it can be shrunk down to fit a normal DVD if you do not want to spend the money on a DL disc.

I know mine works fine on a 4.7GB, but someone else did the work for me :)

Yeah mine works too. No need to keep all the Japanese stuff since you'll never see it anyway.

I had the same issues with FarCry Instincts Evolution and Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix.

It's become a very common practice to just remove these useless files.

I don't speak italian, french, or japanese. And I don't need to hear them on my games; so I cut them a lot of times.

You can back up the full version of ninja gaiden with out[bold] deleting anything[/bold]

1 copy the game over to your pc
2 get hold of a copy of qwix, use this to make the iso.
3 make sure that you tick the box to automatically cross link identical file
4 burn the disc using dvd decryptor
5 if decryptor won't burn it use nero and set overburning in neros option menu

Good call there; I was really nervous about that at first; because I've heard that it doesn't always burn right; but after testing, it works fine.

    Good extra info.
