Using ImgBurn 2.1.0.0 on a brand new LG GSA-H42N. The media is Memorex but the disc i.d is Ritek. It craps out when the disc is about to get finalized. Here's the log of what I tried to burn. Help!? Yeah change the media. Over at Imgburn they say only use Verbatim +R for D/L not -R as you can't set the layer break. Also check your firmware...
When it comes to DLs, you should only be using Verbatim. The jury is still out on Fuji's DL media, though. I've only used DL verbs, and the only problems I've ever run into are problems that I've caused (stupid ones, mind you lol). Never any issues.
Damn. My friend has an LG as well. It's not the model I have but he's able to burn with IMGBURN 1.0 and with these SAME Memorex discs. Bah!! I'm going to try once more and if not I'll just wait until LG releases newer firmware for more disc support or just get verbatims. Grrr! Thanks guys.
